This was my first time to see and feel the NHRA. I will
never forget that day, as will millions more. To be up
close to those cars and to see the drivers and their
crews was awesome. To drive the cars takes more guts
than you can imagine, especially after what happened to
Scott.

It started to rain right after the first round of eliminations
for top fuel and I thought that the event was gonna be
done, but the rain stopped and if you were there and you
looked at the sky, you saw a big hole in the clouds like
the eye of a storm. It wasn't the eye of the storm, it was
Scott looking down and clearing the sky so the races
could go on.

I see a driver almost every day of the week and could
never imagine what was on his mind that night, or the
next day when he got in his car for eliminations, but I
hope they were good thoughts cause Scott was a great
guy and will be missed by millions of fans.
TURN UP THE VOLUME TO
FEEL LIKE YOU ARE THERE!
CAUSE IT'S LOUD,
AND IT'S MEANT TO
BE PLAYED LOUD!
My buddy Pete doing a
burnout in his 74 Pinto in front
of his  garage. This guy is a
real car nut! Check out some
more of the videos that we
have like the ride in the 32
Chevy on a cold 23 degree day
in January of 2008
This is what the tires looked
like after that 74 Pinto burnout
was done. You can see the
cords coming out and another
minute of roasting the tires
and they would have popped!
My buddy Paul getting his
Timber Wolf stuck in the mud
behind our buddy Petes
house. These things are a
blast to drive!
Pete had to break out the
winch on the Sportsman to
get him out after we drank
some more beer.
Pete gave me a ride in his 32
confederate roadster on
January 10th 2009 before we
went to the World Of wheels
car show in Boston with 6-9
inches of snow expected to
start in 4-6 hours. The
temperature was a chilly 20
something degrees.  He is
definitely a "CAR NUT!"
1932 Chevy Confederate,32
Roadster.
This is me doing a quick
burnout in my 69 Firebird
convertible. It only has a
Pontiac 350 with the small
valve #47 heads and a 3.55
posi with line lock and a turbo
350 tranny with shift improver
kit. I should have left it on low
but shifted into 2nd to see if it
would keep spinning.
This is some footage that I
shot while at the Seekonk
Speedway Spectator drags.
Basically they start them 2 at
a time and the first one
across the finish line stays to
race again, and the looser
usually leaves the track after
showing off and roasting
some tire for a while! A fellow
co-worker and his more than
200,000 mile Volvo station
wagon have been known to
upset/humiliate some of the
contestants.
Seekonk Speedway Spectator
drags video of some of the
races on October 31 2004.
There is a 230,00 plus mileage
Volvo 740 turbo station wagon
that wins 2 races this day and
another Volvo 740 turbo with a
mustang 5-speed tranny that
also wins. I worked at the
local Volvo dealer with both of
these guys who are good
friends.
My car is in the burnout line
and I am walking around and
taking some video when a
cool sounding ford pickup
starts and chucks a few revs.
It sounds pretty good with the
stacks1
Just some footage of the
crowd at the Worcester
Summer Nationals 2008 and
maybe you were there but if
not then you should go there
this year
